<p>Let me tell you&#8230;it was a lot harder to post these pictures than I thought. I didn&#8217;t really feel that &#8220;exposed&#8221; until I saw them on my screen.<img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-13" title="Pete_Back_08-03-2009" src="http://linebackerfitnessreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/Pete_Back_08-03-2009-141x300.jpg" alt="Pete_Back_08-03-2009" width="141" height="300" /></p>
<p>I have to admit&#8230;I&#8217;m pretty embarassed.</p>

<div class="mceTemp">There are a few things that just jump off the screen at me: </div>
</div>
<ul>
<li>I didn&#8217;t realize how big my gut had gotten. I should have spent more time playing basketball instead of eating it. That profile shot just disgusts me!</li>
<li>You can really see how those &#8220;love handles&#8221; stick out in the front and back shots. If it wasn&#8217;t for my shorts squeezing them in, they&#8217;d be nearly as wide as my waist&#8230;sort of like those &#8220;Weeble Wobble&#8221; toys I had as a child.</li>
<li>I have two nice rolls of back fat&#8230;one where the base of neck meets the top of my back and the other is just a continuation of my belly-love handles-back fat &#8220;circle of death&#8221; around my entire midsection.</li>
<li>Did you check out that headline in the paper I&#8217;m holding? It says &#8220;Obesity taking toll on U.S. heath care.&#8221; Call it ironic, karma, a sick joke or just coincidence&#8230;it  just added a little more fuel to the fire that day.<img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-12" title="Pete_Side_08-03-2009" src="http://linebackerfitnessreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/Pete_Side_08-03-2009-97x300.jpg" alt="Pete_Side_08-03-2009" width="97" height="300" /></li>

<p>Whew&#8230;I&#8217;m sure glad that&#8217;s over with! I&#8217;m looking forward to posting a new set of pictures after 4 weeks on the program.</p>
<p>In the next post, I&#8217;ll list some of my short-term and long-term weight-loss goals plus the results of my first week using the Linebacker Fitness program. Stay tuned!</p>
